SOOC Sunday

Jan is the host of SOOC Sunday. Jan, today we went to the beach for the last time. It was 84 degrees and very breezy. The water was so rough you really couldn't go in except to dunk your toes.  There were no lifeguards therefore no one was allowed to actually go in to swim.

Effects of Tornado in Flushing, NY

 

Damage was greatest along the south end of Kissena Park along Booth Memorial Avenue. In this area there were damaged cars as well.

The steeple of St. George's Episcopal Church in main St. Flushing was sheared right off...
