Weekend Reflections

Oh dear! I'm running out of reflections in my photo archives! Here is a shot of early Spring - you can see some ice in the little brook. I like the reflections of the trees and ducks though.

The pool before it opens for the day reflects clearly the white chairs, the high seats of the life guards, the slides down at the end of the pool.

A photo of a simple, yet colorful, pear still had no interest as far as I could tell. So I rotated the canvas on which the pear sat, added some lighting effects and a lens flare.

The light on the side of the pear reflects from the window on its right.

Reflections from the Schwartz Mausoleum in Mt. Zion Cemetery located in Maspeth, N.Y.

The bottom reflection was taken very close up and through the bars in the door. You can see the funerary compartments along the right and left sides and the stained glass window reflecting against the sides.

I thought this photo might be a little creative (as James tells us to be). I shot directly into the mirror over my fireplace and caught everything reflected there: my French doors, the porch, a painting of St. Patrick's Cathedral.

A close-up of the red door of Grace Episcopal Church on City Island, Bronx, NY. The diamond shaped window reflects and distorts the house across the street.

I never noticed that I caught that evergreen tree right in the middle of the shot! I love that I caught the sky in the side view mirror and reflected in the side window and through the back window. If I do say so myself! Ha!
