This is an example of the decorations the Civic Association puts up at holiday time on the two main streets of our shopping area. They were put up early this year and, as usual, they will probably remain suspended over the streets til March 2009. :) They look very pretty at night but my point-and-shoot camera doesn't take good night shots.
So this is My World during the holiday season.

You made me laugh! My small community has had holiday decorations up for weeks now and will probably have them up in March as well! Ha! Maybe even later. ;-)

Silly me - on first quick glance, I thought there was snow on the decorations. I want to see another pic of the same spot come March to see if they are still there.

:D a very long Christmas holiday for those decorations:) In the Philippines, we usually start our decorations in September. My World entry is up too.
had to chuckle about the decorations remaining up for months beyond the holiday...
decorations were going up just prior to thanksagiving around the local communities here. as i don't live in a town per say...there are none around us other than what we put up.
