This Way Thursday-WAY

This Way Thurs-Way

When I saw this sign outside a New York restaurant I thought, "Why in the world would a Manhattan restaurant advertise TOAST?  A Toast restaurant. That seemed silly. Well, I found out there are restaurants called TOAST

New York City’s premier “truckstop gourmet” restaurants invite you to drink and dine with us. What is “truckstop gourmet”?, it’s our take on quality hand prepared foods made with love and affection, combined with the portion, price and home-style feel of your local truckstop. For you dining pleasure we feature house cured salmon, house smoked pork, legendary burgers, overstuffed sandwiches and divine entrees, with daily specials to satisfy your every hunger. For your drinking pleasure we specialize in craft beer, handcrafted adult-size cocktails, and an exceptional wine list.

Since the founding of our Uptown location in 1999 we have provided a great place to meet and relax in a casual, friendly and intimate setting. We have continued this tradition with our Downtown location by providing outdoor seating, exceptional frozen margarita’s all in a slightly larger space! Toast –“Where all good things are Toasted!”

So there you are!

That's my kind of place. Have you been there? I hope it's not too expensive to eat.
