Sheila of A Postcard a Day sent me this postcard recently.
Sound II

(located in the sometimes flooded crypt of Winchester Cathedral)
Thanks Sheila for including Christmas stamps on the card. They're beautiful!
Marie of the French Factrice hosts this marvelous meme!

That's a nice photo of the cathedral.
The lighting is magical!
Nice card. I like the bird stamp - I guess that is a robin? (the English Robin)
A beautiful card. It makes me wonder why the cathedral is frequently flooded. By rain? A nearby river?
I had no idea that they has occasional flooding problems! How lovely that PFF is helping to stuff mailoxes!
What an interesting postcard. It is really beautiful.
Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy PFF!
I can see I'll have to do a Winchester Cathedral post because the story of the flooding is fascinating (to me anyway).
Thank you so much for posting this card, one of my favourites.
PS, yes that's one of our robins, always closely associated with Christmas.
It feels very odd to see my handwriting there for all the world to see!
What a great card! And I love the stamps, too. How nice!
It would be nice to occasionally try to enhance a postcard into a maximum card. :)
