I took this shot at the Planting Fields, Coe House. The lovely compote dish (a la Lenox) sits on a wood pedestal and is housed in a glass cabinet. The glass reflects light through and around and, I think, makes for a very interesting photo... if I say so myself. :)

It is indeed a very interesting photo Mary..Lovely
I think the photo is neat. Multiple views ducking in and out. Reflections are so much fun. The subdued colors lend elegance to the atmosphere of the photo.

Hi Mary. This is a very cool picture. I checked out the link and this sounds like a very grand and interesting house.
Regarding your question.
I was in the navy 20+ years ago. It's hard to believe that much time has passed. :)
A see a lot of reflections, and love that Lenox dish, well deserving to be in a pedestal!
Have a great weekend Ms Mary!
Elegant.
A cherished memory, I'm sure.
Have a nice Saturday! :)
I like this very complex picture. It makes me look intently, trying to decipher the layers!
Mary, i like both your photos, though I find the first one the most compelling. My spirit needs rest and that looks like a peaceful place.
