My World Tuesday

Old Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY

A young girl mourns and holds a garland of flowers to express her sorrow over the loss of a loved one. Unfortunately there has been some real damage done to the statue from weather and maybe vandalism.

She is so beautiful and poignant. The damage doesn't detract from the sculpture to me. Great shot.

Very lovely and poignant indeed! The damage is unfortunate, and I agree with Carver, it doesn't distract from the beauty. Beautiful capture, Mary! Enjoy your weekend!

Could be more of the weather. I reckon all photographic memes stir up the creative and artistic spirit of every photographic even if they are not professionals.

so definitely, i am on to this subjective object. very contemplative mood of the woman.

Definitely contemplative...sorrowful. My heart goes out to her and all she represents. Lovely capture!
