Postcard Friendship Friday

Marie of The French Factrice hosts Postcard Friendship Friday.

Here's a probably 20 year old unused postcard:

On the back:
A Currier & Ives print of Stokes Tavern, the original building on the Mohonk Property purchased by Albert Smiley in 1869.
Mohonk Mountain House
Lake Mohonk, New paltz, N.Y. 12561

Here's a shot of Mohonk Mountain House when we visited 20 years ago:

The price of the room includes 3 meals and tea in the afternoon. It's changed quite a bit in the last 20 years. But I'm sure it's still a lovely place to visit.

You can go visit Marie and other PFF participants at The French Factrice.

It has certainly changed a lot, but it still looks a lovely spot. Unless of course it's changed even more in the last 20 years.

Fun to see the illustration compared to a photo - the change isn't THAT huge.
