Ornamental pears are just glorious when they're in full bloom, aren't they? Yours must have done their thing in April? In the south we have problems with the trees breaking and splitting in spring/summer storms.

Is it hardy?
I don't think I've ever seen one around here -- and I've been looking forward each month to see yours grow. I'd like to see a much closer look at the blossoms!

Ornemental pears are shaped so nicely. We in Ohio have problems with them splitting also. But they are pretty.

Your pear tree has done a lot of growing in a month. In April the buds were just forming - did we miss the full bloom?
