My World Tuesday

Photobucket

This is what's painted on the side of a bus that visited my campus recently to encourage students and teachers to donate blood. The cartoon figures look like Fisher-Price's Little People, don't they? The period between December 22 and January 17 is considered a critical period in which to give blood.

Now that is eye-catching. I hope that ad is very successful. Happy 2009.

Hi Mary, great shot that.

Is it critical because it's like the UK and drunken revelllers end up having nasty accidents? Fisher Price toys- that takes me back.

Fisher Price is the first thing I thought of when I saw this. I hope it's effective - I hate the thought that there might not be blood for someone who needs it.
