Monochrome Weekly Theme

I'm posting my Monochrome Weekly Theme post quite early this week. Usually I wait til Wednesday. And I'm posting on my "Mary Tomaselli's Photos" blog for a change.

This is a very yellow, bright zinnia but I do like it in black and white.

Go visit Aileni's blog Monochrome Weekly Theme to see a gallery of very artistic black & white photographs and a list of participants in this meme.

I have to say that it probably looks better in colour. Yellow is a favourite of mine.

Hello Mary, Mary! I'm joining in on the fun for the first time. I do love zinnias, they add so much color to the garden. I love this monochrome that lets me imagine any number of colors.

I like the monochrome. It's something different for your eyes.

Mary, I love it in B&W. Great job editing.

Although I'm sure it looks brilliant in colour, this is effective, too! :D

While I adore yellow it is always interesting to see flowers in B&W. I love all the details in this shot.

With very colourful flowers it often nice to see both versions at the same time, even though this one looked nice.

I love the textures that come out in the monochrome, although I'm sure it is quite lovely in color. ~ Calico Contemplations

Pretty .. not all flowers work well in monochrome .. this is pretty but I am betting the original really rocks

Flowers are tough in B&W but you've pulled it off Mary. You have nice textures and tones.
