The 1964/1965 New York World's Fair was the third major World's Fair to be held in New York City.

I have such great memories of this fair! The ride, "It's a Small World," the Bell Labs ride, the Pieta. The monorail. In the days when you dressed up to go to the fair, too. Thank you for posting these. Happy PFF!

Love the uni-sphere and its reflection.
They are expecting 70 million visitors to this years expo in Shanghai, which seems an amazing number.

Beautiful symbol in the reflecting pool! I remember the World's Fair but did not attend - I had started a new job at one of the Bell companies and did not have any vacation time. All of that leading edge technology is so vintage these days!
